ANTHONY WARLOW as Dr Zhivago
Anthony has forged an enviable reputation on the operatic and commercial theatre stage. He made his debut with the
Australian Opera aged 19 as a guest artist in A Midsummer Night's Dream. He remained with the company as a principal
artist and in the ensuing years his repertoire included La Boheme, Tosca, Otello, The Tales of Hoffman (with Dame Joan
Sutherland). He played the role of Enjholras in Les Miserables directed by Trevor Nunn and his performance is featured
on the Grammy Award winning international Cast Recording. In 1990 he was chosen by director Hal Prince to play
the Phantom in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. This portrayal earned him huge acclaim and
several industry awards. And in 2007 he recreated this role for over two years, again to critical and audience acclaim.
Anthony's starring roles have been diverse and include Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, The Secret Garden and Annie
for which a new song was written for him, creating music theatre history and changing Annie forever. He recently played his first Sondheim musical A Little Night Music, and returned to the world of Gilbert & Sullivan with Opera Australia, playing the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance.

LUCY MAUNDER as Lara
Lucy Maunder is a rising star of the Australian theatre industry. She graduated from the Western Australian Academy of
Performing Arts in 2006 after received the Bill Warnock Award for Most Promising Student and the Lesley Anderson
Award for Best Showcase Performance. Immediately she was cast as the young Mary O'Hara in Harp on the Willow
and after winning the ASCAP/TDP "Bound for Broadway" scholarship she travelled to New York and performed her
own cabaret entitled Give me Gold. Her roles have included the ABC/Channel 4 UK feature film The Eternity Man,
and through 2008 Lucy understudied and performed the roles of Columbia and Janet in Gale Edwards' new The Rocky
Horror Show. Recently Lucy played Anne Egerman in the Opera Australia production of A Little Night Music, and had
the leading role of Emma Carew in Jekyll and Hyde, in a five-month tour of South Korea.

TANEEL VAN ZYL as Tonia
Since graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre),
Taneel has steadily established herself as one of Australia's most versatile performers. She made her professional theatre
debut in the original production of Mamma Mia!, understudying and performing the lead role of Sophie. Other theatre
credits include Eureka (Alicia cover) directed by Gale Edwards, Eurobeat the Eurovision Musical (Sweden), Hello Again
(The Actress) and Sideshow Alley directed by Gary Young. In 2008, Taneel featured in the Donmar Warehouse production
of Guys and Dolls (Martha), followed by the Melbourne season of The Rocky Horror Show. In 2009, she performed in
the Sydney season of Guys and Dolls as the alternate Sarah Brown and most recently, Taneel featured in the John Frost production of Wicked, where she covered and performed the role of Glinda. -
MARTIN CREWES as Pasha Antipov
Since graduating from the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts, Martin has performed leading roles in
Australia, the UK and Asia. His theatre credits include Hugo in Aspects of Love, China in West Side Story and Lt Joe
Cable in South Pacific. He played the Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and in 1996 Martin
played Marius in Les Miserables, performing in Asia, South Africa and the West End. His work in the UK includes
The Chichester Festival Theatre production of Pal Joey and The Woman in White, directed by Trevor Nunn, for which
he received a What's On Stage Award nomination. In 2007 he performed in the Royal Shakespeare Company's
production of Merry Wives the Musical in Stratford Avon. He is an accomplished television performer appearing
in many Australian and British series. He won a Greenroom Award for Hair and a nomination for his work in The
Man from Snowy River Arena Spectacular. He performed the Opening Number of the Royal Variety Performance in
London and sang the role of Marius in the Scandinavian Concert Tour of Les Miserables and he has performed in
orchestral concerts throughout Europe and the UK -
PETER CARROLL as Alexander
Peter is a distinguished actor whose career has spanned all aspects of theatre, film and television. His musical theatre
credits include Mother Courage with Germaine Greer, Caucasian Chalk Circle the year the Sydney Opera House opened
and during the 80s he performed in national tours of Evita, Sweeney Todd, and Les Miserables, while the 90s saw him
in Saint Joan of the Stake, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Cats, The Threepenny
Opera, Into the Woods, Simply Weill and Crazy for You. Peter's theatre work comprises well over 60 productions for the
major theatre companies. Some personal favourites are The Christian Brothers, Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night,
Across Lake Constance, The Seagull, Uncle Vanya, King Lear, Hamlet. Peter's television and film roles number over 30
and include The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith, Grass Roots and Changi. He is the recipient of many awards including the
Penguin, Variety and Mo Awards, the Sydney Theatre Critics' Circle Award for Significant Contribution to Sydney
Theatre, two Victorian Green Room Awards and a Glug -
BARTHOLOMEW JOHN as Viktor Komarovsky
Bartholomew has been a professional actor, singer and presenter for over 30 years evolving into an accomplished
and admired leading man and screen actor. He has worked with Australia's leading theatrical producers and theatre
companies including JC Williamson, Michael Edgley and the Victorian Arts Trust to name a few. Theatre credits
include Jekyll and Hyde, Fiddler on the Roof, Titanic, A Little Night Music, Oliver, Man of La Mancha, The Sound of
Music and I Love My Wife. Bartholomew's repertoire further includes Side by Side, Company, Arsenic and Old Lace,
Private Lives, Faces in the Street, Playbox and Mary Lives. Bartholomew has considerable television drama credits
include some of Australia's most popular classics, including Always Greener, All Saints, Heartbreak High, Murder Call,
The Young Doctors, Skyways, Matlock, The Sullivans, The Challenge, Number 96, Tales of the South Seas, and Tough Nuts.
Bartholomew's film credits include Space and Beyond, Dynasty Behind the Scenes, Lucy - The Lucy Ball Story, Australia,
Daybreakers and Mao's Last Dancer. -
TRISHA NOBLE as Anna
Trisha has gained huge success in theatre, film and television in Australia, America and the UK. Her starring theatre
roles in Australia have included Little Women (The Broadway Musical), Pippin (for which she received a Helpmann
Award nomination), Dusty, Leader of the Pack, Footloose and Shout – The Musical, in which she created the role of Thelma
O'Keefe and received both a MO Award nomination and Green Room Award Nomination for Best Performer of the
Year. Feature films have included Star Wars: Episode 111 and Star Wars 11, and The Private Eyes. Her television career
has included starring roles in drama, comedy and crime for Universal TV, CBS, Aaron Spelling and MGM. And
Trisha has performed in over 25 television variety specials in the United States, Great Britain and France.
